Where do aloe plants grow?

The cultivation area of our aloe plants (or fresh aloe leaves) of the genus Barbardensis Miller (or Linné) is located in Greece.

The Aloe Arborescens fresh leaves are harvested from plants in Italy.

Aloe barbadensis Miller leaves from Mexico or Brazil are used for the production of our aloe juice.

Other growing areas for aloe plant include the coastal areas of Venezuela, the Dutch Antilles, as well as in subtropical regions of the USA and in Europe in Spain.

However, the hot climate and a sufficient number of hours of sunshine are important for the aloe plant, so that the aloe plant can flourish (see article "Maturity of the aloe plant")
